Want to save money on textbooks?
Want to get more money back for your used books?
Just generally annoyed with the whole process?
CampusWise was founded by two students, Max Hall and Austin Jones, in early Spring 2014. It came out of a just generally bad textbook system; students were forced to either buy/sell their textbooks at the bookstore for bad prices, or scour Facebook for people to buy/sell with, hoping that they were legit. CampusWise solves both those problems, allowing students to list fair prices, and requiring an .edu email address from all users. When logged in, you only see books from your school.
Use the search bar on the top of all our pages to find the books you need. You can search by title, author, and ISBN. You'll be able to see prices of books, too.
Create an account with your school email address and hit the 'Buy Now' button to pay for your book. Our site uses PayPal to make sure your payment is secure. You'll get a confirmation email from us telling you what you bought, and who you bought it from.
Contact the seller in your email to meet up to get your book, or you can request a $5 delivery with the link in your email. Follow the link in your email to confirm you got the book, or after 5 days we'll assume you got the book.
All you need to sell your books is a .edu email address at an approved school. Sign up with your .edu email, and post the books you want to sell to your Bookshelf, located on your Dashboard. Adding a picture of your book is optional, but HIGHLY recommended. If you don't add one, we may do it for you. You can edit your book posting at any time, including uploading a new picture.
Users will search our site for the books they need, and your book will come up. We'll also advocate for your book on Facebook if we find someone specific looking for it! You'll get an email from us if someone buys it, telling you that the buyer will contact you.
Once the buyer says you've met (or 5 days has passed, whichever comes first) we'll send you your payment, minus our 10% convenience fee (we have to pay for this somehow!), via PayPal. You'll get an email from PayPal, and if you don't have an account, they'll have you create one. If you have any issues, just email us!
Feel free to contact us via email at: email@example.com and we will get back to you promptly.
